Guest Post // The Baloney Bug

While Sando’s over at The Baloney Bug teaching everyone how to perfectly dress a hot dog she’s asked me to share some of my favorite day to night looks inspired by the upcoming 4th of July.

The Striped Skirt:

For day I love wearing this skirt with a t-shirt and sandals. It’s put together but oh so comfy and definitely keeps you cool in that hot July weather. By night time I just switched the tee out for a button down chambray, tied up to show just a sliver of skin and a sparkly heel. Sparkly heels make everything better. Okay, sparkles in general makes everything better.

The White Jean:

White jeans have seriously become my summer staple. I’m lucky enough to work in a casual environment, so pairing white jeans with just about anything has quickly become my go to look. And they just so happen to be the perfect Fourth of July color. Change out comfy Toms for a pair of wedges and a casual button down for a peplum blouse and I’d say you’re just about ready for a fun Fourth of July party.

You can catch me watching the fireworks atop a friend’s apartment building this July 4th.
Anyone else have fun plans to celebrate?

LOVE all of these looks Joan!! Thanks again for sharing your sweet style. We think you’re just deelightful ;)
